April-Love Gomes, LMT, is a fully licensed and insured massage therapist. April has always been passionate about helping others. However, she became a massage therapist as a result of her own struggles.
For most of her life she dealt with chronic pain and feeling unwell. By her mid 20s she had been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune disorders and a variety of other conditions. After realizing how much of an impact her health was having on not only her life, but also her child, April started doing some research on alternative care and decided to give it a try. She booked massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic appointments—and it wasn't long before she started getting relief. She felt healthier than she had in years and today is medication free!
As a result of her own experience, April wanted to help change as many lives as possible. She knows firsthand how health can affect the quality of life—and that’s why she is so passionate and dedicated to helping each and every one of her clients.
April graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute School in Lincoln, Rhode Island. She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, and reflexology. She is certified in pregnancy massage through the American Massage Therapy Association. April is licensed by the state of Rhode Island and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
